Jennifer Scripps, a Dallas native and seasoned civic leader, became President and CEO of Downtown Dallas, Inc. (DDI) in April 2022. As DDI's President and CEO, Jennifer is focused on advancing the organization’s strategic 360 Plan and overseeing major upcoming projects, including the redevelopment of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Before joining DDI, Jennifer served six years as Director of the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture. She also held key roles at the Perot Museum of Nature & Science, where she was instrumental in managing the expansion project and developing the museum's business strategy, helping to solidify its place just north of the Central Business District.

As Director of Convention and Event Services, she manages contracts and capital projects for the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, Eddie Bernice Johnson Union Station, American Airlines Center, and other venues. She oversees a budget of $114 million and a capital budget of $62 million, leading the implementation of the Kay Baily Hutchison Convention Center Dallas Master Plan.
